          best way is to get some software and just play around with it. I initially started with Fruity loops which is a piece of piss to get even the thickest of heads round. I now use Ableton LIve 6 an Logic with a whole host of plug ins etc. At the end of the day, the chances are your initial attempts are gonna sound absolutely shite so don’t be downhearted, post up the tunes and get some real feedback as to where you’re goin wrong/right. Let everyone you know hear what you do and get their HONEST opinion (friends normally have to be told to be honest cos some people that have an emotional link somhow never are brutally honest).
          There is no right or wrong way to start producing, just get on with it.
          Anyone you know who has any experience of production is always a good help.
          PM if you need specific advice and I’ll do whatever to help if I can 😉
